LAMENTATIONS

by David Eide

It's not necessary to experience everything. In fact, he wants to experience less. He wants to surrender to the few experiences that have meaning to him and worry never more about how to make sense of some disparate thought or feeling that has floated to nothingness before it is captured by a rival.

Experience is met by resistance or pleasurable intercourse with what one previously knew.
