LIGHT IS A HARD OBJECT
by David Eide .

IX.

Before long, the moon, a sometime
boring object, came unexpectantly alive;
burrowing in our mind as something
attached, even wearable.
Glittering probes in the pulse of
empty space burst at every corner
and crevice. In that space where
is the head of the man? He says,
"Come, I will show you the glories
of what has not been discovered yet."
And rather than going on forever
it is cut off by a screen; the
source of things exist in little
bundles. To see earth again!
That is the genuine thrill.
