And they say now, in the future, that the mass produced death, fit inside small containers, changed the sentimental relations they had to life on the planet, to freedom, to the life of the spirit. "Men," the spirits say, "you have changed for less reasons. Ideology and nihilism are the easy way out; the way o former slaves afraid of freedom. Those, in other words, who see the implications of freedom in their heart and are suddenly horrified that freedom will be too large a burden since it implies such wide, profound trust. That freedom will make him impotent.
