Chapter 1

SPACE

To say that the universe is like a crazy woman doesn’t do craziness or women any justice. It was beyond crazy, beyond woman. You must understand that there are many “females” in the universe. The one’s on our planet, whatever color or race, age, hair, shape or disposition did present a fabulous array of wonderful beauty and contour. I had run into many of them and as I left the Earth I could nearly see each one in her particular being, ancient and modern. Not one soul but many souls. Their cries of agony and hardships, their treacheries and dubious thoughts. Their want, their awareness of tragedy and injustice. Taken together it was a seed. But then all the planets, all the life forms had their seeds made up of all their females. Charming seeds struck me on my adventures. I would absorb them. The very concept of female was contradicted throughout the universe, at every step, There were parallel universes, no question but then so much more. And the female was present in so many types and varieties of soul.

Many of them you could not see. Many you didn’t want to see until you were acclimated to where you were. One species of woman had huge head like things that were lit up and as they glided along you could see some mysterious way she was perceiving and arranging the data of her environment. Some of the females didn’t have reproductive systems. Others had three or even more. I was always viewed as either a curiosity or a dolt of some sort. Many knew of Earth, let’s just put it that way. And I will say that Earth measured up fairly well against what I saw and experienced; it was a middle of the road place; starkly beautiful but where the beings were exhausted of their time on the surface and wanted out as soon as possible. Many other places the beings had adapted and learned how to transform what was there into new variations of life so life was always stimulated and anxious to live. It was the fast land, the universe was. You had to go up a learning curve to navigate it.
