Chapter 1 

It’s all a puzzle to solve; that was always the challenge. That’s what brought things up, that’s what initiated the deeds and thoughts. A flat surface with a logical array of lights. And we stared into it and tried to come up with its mystery. It got complicated as we began to wear it like another skin and its largeness became our largeness. Its properties became our properties and so on. Its dimensions reflected on our limitations and so a whole host of new imaginings and aspirations sprung up. It was never easy to see but once one saw it they never went back to their old way.
