White-Binder Poems

By David Eide

The day the sins are forgiven is a great day
When we rejoice for the victories that are won
A terrible tongue of hate has fallen into darkness
And brightness has filled the emptiness of the heart.

So we move into a new amplitude; a curiosity
and the disembodiment of buildings leaves us cold,
thinking about power again and the citizens.
