White-Binder Poems

By David Eide

"The gall of the bozo's has reduced life to politics.
They roll from the truth. They are clever."

"The goddamn brain has overspilled the dam, rushes toward a tiny
hamlet we have created with our own hands."

Politics is the god to resourceless people, who, tired
of the desert they live in, explode and rampage.

In the mind it starts. It builds on the fantastic shapes of envy
and becomes a shadow point on the trigger.
