SERIALIZATIONS:

Serializations have become popular in the internet years for any number of reasons. Perhaps the modern reader is tired the moment he or she lifts and thumbs through a modern novel. Perhaps they have been trained by television that content happens occassionally and in episodes. Perhaps the intenet economy permits such a thing. Whatever, we continue the practice and are pleased with it. They are open-ended but head in distinctive directions. "Commune" is a meditation on an American phenomenon that brings idealism and disgust to the fore and permits people that grandest of illusions, "perfect freedom." Such a valuable lesson learned! "Berkeley" is a memory of my youth when I was the "poet of my dreams." It almost killed me but I survived it and am happy to populate it with creatures I knew and thought I knew or who appeared to me or yelled at me from a passing car. "Mudhut Dialogs" was an experiment of sorts. A prose piece of only dialog from unidentified characters. It will evolve.
